Book your spot at Intimate Space to experience an interactive show throughout the Hilton presented by Restless Dance. Hailing from Adelaide, this inclusive theatre company informed by differently-abled performers is captivating.
MUSICAL SEE-SAWS
Jump on one of sixteen huge illuminated see-saws in Surfers Paradise next month as part of an interactive art playground, Impulse. As you and those around you play, the installation interprets movements into light and sound creating a very original show indeed.
GOLD RUN 2018
On 15 April, 6,600 keen members of the public will take part in their very own Commonwealth Games event. Come and see this mass of people, representing the amount of athletes and officials visiting our city, tackle a 5km Fun Run and Wheelchair Marathon along the same track as the athletes from Broadwater Parklands, Southport.
GOLD COAST SUPERHERO WEEKEND
Fly in to Broadbeach 27 – 29 April to join fellow superheroes and the Supanova Pop Culture Expo for a weekend of meet and greets and workshops topped off with a parade. See themed movies as part of the Gold Coast Film Festival and limp on over to NightQuarter to take part in the creepy Zombie Walk.
STEP UP 2018
Channing Tatum may not be attending but dayum, the biggest adult dance competition flanked with four nights of parties and an epic beachfront performance is hitting ‘The Streets’ of Surfers Paradise. From 27 – 29 April get set for dance classes, workshops and local, national and international dancers vying for the $5,000 prize pool across hip hop, mixed styles, break dance, samba and reggaeton competition genres.
