04 Mar 2018

So we know you know it’s Games time from the 4th and if you managed to score tickets, well done my friend. If not, we’re here to tell you why you’ve still gotta get your sweet little self down here stat.  You’re not gonna want to want to miss any of this.

ATMOSPHERE

One of the best things about events like the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, is the buzz of excitement surrounding them. Each precinct on the coast is gearing up for its own version of Games excitement and all you’ve got to do is rock up to benefit.

 FREE PERFORMANCES

April is not JUST about sports. Check out all the acts at Bleach* Festival and Festival 2018 from 29 March to 15 April.  Think art equals stuffy galleries and bow ties? Think again. “It’s free, and you can see everything in your board shorts,” says Festival 2018 Creative

Director, Yaron Lifschitz.

LEGACY

Years from now GC2018 will be something to reflect on, a moment in time marked by Commonwealth nations coming together for the first ever inclusive Games. Be sure to be a part of the comradery on Gold Coast streets and live out the story you’ll tell your grandkids of this momentous occasion.

MUSIC MUSIC MUSIC

There are some big names in here and they’re playing in epic outdoor stages FOR FREE. We’re talking Kate Miller-Heidke, Amy Shark, The Cat Empire, Hot Dub Time Machine, Confidence Man, Bubsy Marou, The Jungle Giants; and for a bit of good ol’ reminiscing there’s Yothu Yindi, Troy Cassar-Daly and Regurgitator.

MOVIE STARS
