Free School Holiday Fun On The Gold Coast

28 Sep 2021

Keeping the kids entertained is going to be a breeze during school holidays. Just bring them down to Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach for some family-friendly activities. Check out the fun stuff happening for free! Join in a scavenger hunt with a difference around Surfers Paradise (or should that be Smurfers Paradise?) or come and get crafty and creative in Broadbeach. Grab the gang and come and play!

SMURFERS PARADISE SCAVENGER HUNT

This school holidays The Smurfs are taking over Surfers Paradise! Begin your search at the Smurf Village (in the centre of Cavill Mall) to collect your scavenger hunt card and some very blue clues. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find 10 Smurfs around Surfers Paradise. Once you’ve located them all, head back to the Smurf Village and claim your reward – an awesome Smurfy prize bag!

There’s a ton more fun to be had though, including daily meet and greets with the Smurfs themselves plus lots of prizes. You can also score discounts at The Hard Rock Café, Lotus Thai Café, Max Brenner and San Churro for a post-hunt treat or meal. Just make sure you mention the Smurfers Paradise promo when you order.

Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre in Surfers Paradise has a special school holidays promotion running until October 18th where kids eat free! Children 12 years old and under can get a free meal when you purchase a full priced main meal. Yum! Enjoy a free feed at Baritalia, Betty’s Burgers, PappaRich Malaysian, The Local Tavern, The Green & Fresh Cafe or Seventea Two.

Catch the G:Link to Cavill Avenue station, or burn off some of that endless energy kids are blessed with by walking, riding or skating to the Smurf Village. Get more info here.
