It’s a universally loved cuisine that really hits the spot, and exactly what you need after an action-packed, sun-drenched day on the Gold Coast. Here’s our rundown on where to find some of the Gold Coast’s best burgers. We hope you’re hungry!

This street-side eatery in the heart of Burleigh Heads is the perfect place to satisfy your burger cravings. Slide in on a balmy afternoon, still sandy after a day at nearby Burleigh Beach and enjoy quality craft beers on tap and an incredible assortment of tasty burgers. Inclusions like their 3AM, a beef burger paired with cheese sticks, and the Pulled Pig, with applewood smoked pulled pork, are sure to impress. All served with a juicy piece of pickle on top!

If you like your burgers oversized and oozing with over-the-top fillings, then this is most definitely the place for you, as everything Milky Lane makes is jam-packed with flavour. BURGSTER

If you fancy a quieter and more local burger hangout, then Palm Beach’s Burgster is the place.  With laidback and friendly vibes, regular live DJs and an assortment of fresh and exciting burgers, as well as delicious desserts, you’ll soon see why this venue has a loyal, burger-loving fanbase. Try a Crumbed Mushroom burger or Deep Fried Bug Tails for a meat alternative. Or opt for something spicy with the Hot Ugly Burger (which tastes absolutely beautiful).

LONGBOARDS LAIDBACK EATERY & BAR

Young and old, visitors and locals alike – everyone’s keen to hoe into a Longboards burger. You’ll have the choice of seventeen handmade burgers on offer, including Beach Cheeseburger, the Vegetarian G-Banger, and the Mona Lisa, not to mention their famous 1.8kg beef burger challenge! Enjoy cocktail jugs, frosty beers and specials almost every day of the week.

BROOKLYN DEPOT

This Surfers Paradise den of flavour serves up some seriously succulent burgers. The industrial-chic venue blends Big city New York vibes with a beachy Queensland atmosphere. Gourmet burgers are, of course, the main attraction, and you’re spoilt with an array of tasty options. However, you might get distracted by the selection of American-style hot dogs, BBQ ribs, and crispy fried wings. Either way, whatever you choose to tuck into at Brooklyn Depot, you won’t leave disappointed.

The Eddie’s menu constantly changes and features super-sized burgers (all named with some sort of music reference) packed with drool-inducing ingredients. The kind of place to wander in off the beach — or pull up your Harley Davidson — grab a stool and enjoy some serious burger action, accompanied by a guitar-heavy soundtrack.
