CATCH A CRAB

ULTIMATE GOLD COAST DAY TRIPS FOR DELEGATES

If your delegates are keen to explore more widely here's some of our favourite day trips to experience the spectacular natural wonders of our beachside city.

TWEED ESCAPE

Begin the day on the multi-award winning Catch a Crab tour. Spend the morning onboard exploring oyster farms, pumping for yabbies and catching mud crabs before enjoying a seafood lunch on Tweed River.

After lunch, head 10 minutes east to Greenmount Beach to enjoy private surfing lessons with Walkin' on Water surf school. Groups of 30 per session can learn to surf while the rest of the group enjoys some of the Gold Coast's never-ending sunshine.

HINTERLAND RETREAT

The Gold Coast Hinterland has incredible diversity for day tour possibilities.

For those who enjoy a cheeky tipple, the Mount Tamborine Wine Tasting Tour visits 3 wineries, a distillery, craft brewery and incorporates several lunch options.

Southern Cross 4WD Tours can accommodate groups of up to 200 to enjoy guided rainforest walks, exploring the Hinterland’s arts and crafts hub, swimming in natural springs under stunning waterfalls with morning tea and lunch.

If your delegates are looking for thrills, why not combine several Hinterland attractions for the ultimate rainforest adventure. Experience Australia’s largest guided zipline with Treetop Challenge Tamborine or walk 30 metres above the ground to experience the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk.

For a country picnic in stunning surrounds, relax by the creek at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards. Taste the wine, stomp some grapes, take a Segway tour or meet the local Alpacas at Mountainview Alpaca Farm.

CULINARY SAMPLER

Head south to the reinvigorated beachside precinct of Palm Beach to The Collective. The dining hub has options to tempt every palate with five kitchens onsite. Enjoy a masterchef challenge and cocktail making demonstration before enjoying a tapas style lunch.

In the afternoon, move on to a local favourite, The Burleigh Brewing Co. and enjoy a 'meet the brewer' tour. See behind the scenes of the beer making process at the Gold Coast's first craft beer brewery and finish up with a beer sampling session and live entertainment.

After a Smoking and Ochre ceremony on the beautiful Tallebudgera Estuary, walk for an hour with your guide around the 'Dreaming Mountain' Jellurgal.

Afterwards, head to Burleigh Beach to enjoy lunch at your choice of stunning beachside venues just metres from the waves at Rick Shores, Burleigh Pavilion or The Tropic.

LADY ELLIOTT ISLAND
