International visitor numbers for the Gold Coast come from Tourism Research Australia’s (TRA) “International Visitor Survey” (IVS), and are released each quarter. Detailed breakdowns for the Gold Coast region are released by both Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and by TRA itself, at National, State and Tourism Region levels.
