Summary
Overview
Renata Buziak is the first Artist-in-Residence at Binna Burra, in the legacy of a prominent Queensland artist Vida Lahey. Renata will reflect on the 12-month residency at Binna Burra, present a selection of works from her new series 'Gondwanan Biochromes' and launch a catalogue of her recent exhibition of the same title. Using her experimental biochrome process, a collaboration with nature, the new series includes works on paper, textiles and video. The exhibition catalogue includes an essay by Dr Jayne Fenton Keane, a poem by Vicki Kelleher and an introduction by Steve Noakes, the Binna Burra Chairperson.
