Overview

Currumbin RSL Dawn Service will return to Elephant Rock on Currumbin Beach on April 25, 2023. Being Australia’s largest regional ANZAC dawn service, it is expected that a large number of people, young and old will make their way to Currumbin Beach to pay their respects and stand side-by-side in unity. The March will commence at 4.35am with the Dawn Service will follow at 5am. Channel 7 Sunrise will be broadcasting LIVE if you cannot make it in person. Timeline: 3.00am – Park & Ride commences from Currumbin RSL & The Pines Shopping Centre.* 3:30am – Gates to march assembly area will be open. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Village Green (28 Tomewin Street, Currumbin 4223) 4:00am – March assembly & registration check 4.35am – March off 5.00am – Dawn Service commences at Elephant Rock, Currumbin Beach. 6.00am – 7.00am – Return Park & Ride Service -No registration needed for areas surrounding the ceremonial precinct. -Please allow plenty of time to arrive. -Park & ride services will be operational from Currumbin RSL & The Pines Shopping Centre and will operate continuously from the following times: To Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary: 3am – 4:45am From Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary: Conclusion of the service – 7am. Drop off is a short walk to Elephant Rock. *Gold coin donation for this service for non-veterans with funds going towards our Veteran Support Services.
