    Moonlight Night Market

    The northern Gold Coast’s newest night market is here, and it is all about serving up good food and even better times. Dreamworld is playing host to the Moonlight Night Market every Friday and Saturday evening from 5:00-9:00 pm. Entry is just $2 for adults and free for children, granting you access to an array of delicious bites and drinks. Get ready to take your pick from Asian, American, Mexican and Mediterranean eats. You can sip your way through frozen cocktails, homemade iced tea, craft brews and ice cream floats, and treat yourself to dessert in the form of loaded waffles, sundaes, mega milkshakes and more! Whether you’re heading for after-work drinks or taking the kids out for dinner, there’s something for everyone to enjoy eating, drinking, and listening to at Moonlight Night Market.     Kids and Families Fishing Lesson - Currumbin

    Do your kids want to go fishing but you're not sure what to do?? Want to learn how to fish, but feel uncomfortable about it? Send them along to their award-winning programs and they will take care of all the tangles, they've had plenty of experience with flying hooks over the past 18 years. They will ease everyone into fishing with this fun and educational activity. Classes are very hands-on, everyone will be shown how to use the equipment and receive help to correct their technique. Squeals of delight (maybe fear) can be heard echoing down the beach when the kids pump up yabbies. You and your family will have a ball learning an awesome life skill, bond and make wonderful memories for the day. Kids and families will learn to read the beach, catch bait with yabby pumps and a bait net, tie a fishing knot, cast a rod and hopefully land a fish. They will pick up plenty of tips to help make their next fishing adventure more successful. This class is for both kids and families. All bait and fishing equipment provided. All staff have blue cards for working with children. Bookings are essential.

    Twilight Tour at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

    Somerset Storyfest Writers Festival

    Book lovers and storytellers rejoice. The 30th annual Somerset Storyfest will see 30 of the country’s most celebrated authors, illustrators and artists converge on the Gold Coast, from Tuesday 28 to Thursday 30 March, to inspire the next generation of writers and avid readers. In between daily sessions with authors and book signings at the Book Shop, you can also revel in a series of special public events including the Prologue Party with special guests Bluey and Bingo, the annual Literary Lunch, Write and Sip and the annual Long Table Dinner.

    Storyfest Prologue Party

    Come along to the highlight of literary events on the Gold Coast. A fun-filled evening for all the family to celebrate their 30th year of reading and writing!
