Overview

SCORCHED FESTIVAL IS BACK!!

This time we are taking the show on the road and coming to the Gold Coast for a special mini festival!

This sideshow features interstate acts who will be on Brisbane's Scorched Festival 2022 as well as some great locals as well.

Consisting of four best friends who call Melbourne home and have a passion for music and people, Belle Haven is a consistently evolving art form. The band released their record ‘You, Me and Everything In Between’ in 2017 and embarked on their first national headline tour. Since then, they have toured with the likes of In Hearts Wake, Silverstein, Comeback Kid, Dance Gavin Dance, as well as taking the stage at UnifyGathering 2018.

May of 2019 saw the band release their single ‘Forget Me’ after taking a break from touring. The song marked a new era for the band. They celebrated the new single with an almost completely sold-out headline tour around Australia in July 2019. After enduring an entire year of new music & touring plans being cancelled due to COVID-19, the band celebrated an emo Christmas at the end of 2020 with their seasonal single, ‘Moving On’. As the world attempts to get back on it’s feet after the pandemic, so too does Belle Haven.

BAD NEIGHBOUR IS A FOUR PIECE ALT ROCK BAND FROM BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA THAT STARTED FROM A HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDSHIP AND MUTUAL LOVE OVER MUSIC WHICH HAS GROWN INTO A LOCAL NOISE THAT PEOPLE CAN'T SEEM TO GET ENOUGH OF. WITH A SOMEWHAT EUPHORIC FEEL, THERE'S ALWAYS A GREAT ENERGY AMONGST THE CROWD AND THE BAND. THE BAND TAKE A LOT OF INSPIRATION FROM THE LIKES OF MODERN BASEBALL, MOVEMENTS, THE SMITH STREET BAND AND THE MENZINGERS SO IF YOU LOVE THE PUNK/EMO SOUND, YOU CAN'T SKIP BAD NEIGHBOUR.

Melbourne-based heavy outfit The Last Martyr returned with a vengeance in April 2021 with a new single, 'Hindsight,' a fierce tune with a nu-metal bounce that led the four-piece to a multitude of milestones including Triple J rotation and Unearthed Feature Artist. The band followed swiftly with, ‘Afterglow;’ a hard-hitting and nostalgic bop that showcased trap and electronic elements and a live performance on Metal Injection’s ‘Slay At Home,’ YouTube series. Their blast-beat-led single ‘Freaking Out’ was not only their heaviest to date, but the final piece prior to dropping their EP, ‘Purgatory;’ produced by Chris Lalic
