When you visit the Gold Coast you want to be sure you’re making the most of your holiday and enjoying as much of the beach as possible. One great way to soak in those million-dollar-views is to mosey on in to one of our iconic Surf Clubs, famous for their well-priced food and drink and beachfront views that are second-to-none. Here are a few of the best Surf Clubs on the Gold Coast, offering ice cold beverages and unforgettable views.

Rainbow Bay Surf Life Saving Club

Take a trip to beautiful Rainbow Bay then make your way to the local Surf Club, which offers the best views of Rainbow Bay beach and Snapper Rocks. Grab a seat on the open-air verandas and watch the waves roll in or catch a sunset. It’s a great place to watch surfers catch a few waves and do a spot of people-watching while you relax and enjoy a few ice-cold beers and some food.

Southport Surf Life Saving Club

Located at the top of the Coast, the Southport SLSC overlooks beautiful Main Beach, so you can go for a dip in the ocean then head on in for lunch and a drink once you’ve dried off. It’s the ideal place to sample local beers, with 12 on tap and a well-stocked fridge. Grab lunch or dinner, catch a sunset or just sit and unwind as you watch the world go by.

Currumbin Vikings Surf Life Saving Club

The Currumbin Vikings SLSC is perched right on the waters edge in Currumbin, offering the ideal spot to grab a nice cold beverage and enjoy the stunning Currumbin Beach. The views here are second-to-none, putting you right on the water’s edge and making it a fantastic spot for one of the Gold Coast’s iconic sunsets. Visit on Friday evening or Sunday afternoon to catch great live music or pop in on a weeknight to make the most of their great meal specials.

Nobby Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Escape the midday heat and seek refuge in the cool, welcome interior of the Nobby Beach SLSC.  With huge glass windows stretching the height of the bar and restaurant area, you’re treated to some of the very best beach views on offer. Get stuck into some of the delicious food on offer, including some fabulous seafood, then unwind with a few cold-ones while you watch the sunset.

The Surf Club Coolangatta

Another fantastic spot on the Southern-end of the Coast, you’ll find The Surf Club offering incredible views and fantastic food and drink. Grab a seat at the Beachside Bar, where you can take in the picture-perfect sweeping views of the water, from Snapper Rocks right to Surfers Paradise. Pop in for one of the 16 ice-cold beers they have on tap then grab a bite at their award-wining restaurant. If you love live music, stop in on a Sunday afternoon.

Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Located right on the beachfront, Palm Beach SLSC offers a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere overlooking Palm Beach. Get comfortable at a table on the covered deck and catch a bright pink and orange sunset or stop in earlier for lunch and a nice cold beer while the sun is still shining high in the sky. Either way, you’ll love the views and fantastic food and drink on offer at great prices.

Burleigh Heads Supporters Club

The Burleigh Heads SLSC Supporters Club sits at the base of the picturesque Burleigh Heads National Park, right on the beach. The restaurant is perched above ground level, giving you the chance to overlook the beach and ocean all the way out to the horizon, unimpeded. With a beautiful, open and airy feel to the place, you’ll love settling in and soaking in the taste of summer with a cold beer or two.

Kurrawa Surf Club

You’ll find the Kurrawa Surf Club located in Broadbeach, positioned perfectly overlooking the beach. Make the most of this picture-perfect spot by getting there early to nab a seat on the balcony and do a bit of people-watching while you relax and unwind, breathing in the fresh ocean air. Visit Monday through Wednesday to scoop up a meal deal

Surfers Paradise Surf Life Saving Club

If you find yourself in Surfers Paradise, make a bee-line for the local Surf Club and escape the hustle and bustle of Surfers. Set just back from the beach, the Club offers stunning views of one of the most iconic parts of the Gold Coast, perfect for out-of-town visitors. Enjoy a drink in the Champions Bar or a delicious meal from the restaurant. If you love steak, be sure to pop in on a Thursday and tackle their T-Bone Thursday specials!
