Summary
Australian Kayaking Adventures has been operating kayaking and snorkelling adventures on the beautiful Gold Coast for over 15 years. They are also the only kayaking company located on the Nerang River in Surfers Paradise. They offer a range of escorted kayaking tours to the islands surrounding the Gold Coast, and also hire kayaks and stand up paddle boards from Budds Beach in Surfers Paradise.
Customers have a choice of tours. Enjoy the Half-Day Dolphin And Stradbroke Island Tour, kayaking to Wavebreak Island having breakfast on the beach and snorkelling with hundreds of sub-tropical fish right off the beach. They spot dolphins, turtles and stingrays regularly. Then have a short paddle over to South Stradbroke Island where you walk over to one of the best surfing beaches in the world and also see wallabies.
They also run the Surfers Paradise Sunset/River Tour over to Macintosh Island and spot peacocks and other exotic Australian birdlife. When they return they have a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the hinterland.
All tours are run by friendly professional local guides and instructions on how to use equipment and safety is given on every tour. Life jackets are also provided.
