Burleigh Heads sits like a cool comma between Surfers Paradise to the north and Coolangatta to the south. The beaches here are lined with beautiful parkland, scattered with BBQs, playgrounds and facilities for all to enjoy. On Sunday evenings, musicians and fire-twirlers meet up in Justin Park for a joyful community jam session.

Start the day with breakfast at one of James Street's many cafes, browse the retail boutiques along this main drag and book dinner at one of the many excellent eateries around town. Wind down with a tipple on the beachfront at iconic establishments, Rick Shores and Burleigh Pavilion, or follow the locals for a cold one at the bowls club or Surf Life Saving Club.
