Join the marine experts at Sea World Whale Watch for an experience that will stir you to the very core. Setting sail from the pristine waters of the Gold Coast Broadwater, the Spirit of Migaloo II is Australia's newest and most advanced whale watching vessel.

With Marine Naturalists on board, witness majestic Humpback Whales as they make their annual migration past the Gold Coast.

Their breathtaking two and a half hour cruise departs from Sea World four times a day between June to early November, giving intimate groups of locals and travellers the chance to admire these elegant creatures of the deep.

With uninterrupted views of Humpbacks from six external viewing platforms with tiered stadium seating from the sea level to the sundeck, and an exclusive VIP Captain's Lounge for a few lucky passengers.

Sea World Whale Watch


Sea World Whale Watch offers up to four tours a day, each tour two and a half hours in length. Tours depart from Sea World Cruises Terminal, located at the Sea World car park (entrance to Sea World is not required). Upgrade to the VIP Captain's Lounge for a premium whale watching experience, including priority boarding, Captain's Lounge seating, food and drinks. Spirit of Migaloo II is a brand new AUD4 million state of the art vessel, launched in May 2019. It is Australia's newest and most advanced whale watching vessel with six levels of outside viewing platforms, large walk-around decks and restricted passenger numbers ensure your whale watching experience is a personal one. Tour times: 7.30am, 10am, 12.30pm, 3pm. Season: June to early November.
