Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets
Following the recent announcement by the Australian Government advising the ban on outdoor events exceeding 500 people and the further direction issued by the Queensland Government under section 362B, it is with sadness that the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets have been temporarily postponed.
While they are truly passionate about the Beachfront Markets and care dearly for all stallholders who help to make the markets an iconic shopping and tourist destination, the health and safety of visitors, stallholders and their team continues to be the upmost priority. The Beachfront Markets has always fostered a strong safety culture and now is no different - they want to ensure they’re doing all they can to protect all interested parties in the best possible way.
The Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets will cease effectively immediately with a resume date to be considered in May which is when the Queensland Health Mass Gatherings Direction is due for review. Further updates will be made via the website and the Beachfront Markets Facebook page.
Due to current health advice on social distancing, please contact the business for the most up to date information regarding opening times and services.
