What is This Is Gold Coast Business Exchange?
This is Gold Coast Business Exchange is an annual showcase designed for qualified conference and event planners, who plan, research and make decisions regarding business event destinations. It's an opportunity to visit the Gold Coast and be inspired by new ideas and make connections with local partners. The fast paced program includes exciting events and venue site inspections, as well as full day trade exhibition to connect with around 50 local meeting specialists.
Do I qualify to attend?
If you are an association or corporate meeting planner, association executive, EA or PA who assists in the planning and/or research of business events including corporate meetings, incentives, association conferences, board meetings or retreats and are considering the Gold Coast, you are eligible to apply to attend. Your application will be assessed by the Destination Gold Coast Business Events team for final qualification to attend as a fully Hosted Buyer.

This is Gold Coast Business Exchange is the most cost-effective and efficient way for you to experience everything that our city has to offer for your next event. You'll meet face-to-face with a wide range of Gold Coast companies including hotels, attractions, theming companies and more; indulge in spectacular local cuisine, site inspections and enjoy a variety of networking opportunities.
What is the event format?
The program includes a combination of networking events, site inspections and one-on-one pre-scheduled appointments. The pre-scheduled appointments take place on the exhibition floor and are approximately 12 minutes long. You can choose to meet with a wide range of Gold Coast suppliers, specialising in the business events sector and business event buyers.
