Summary

Discover O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk nestled high within World Heritage-listed National Park. Suitable for guests of all ages, this world’s first suspension bridge provides the opportunity to observe life in the rainforest canopy at close range.

Stroll along nine suspension bridges for 180 metres at approximately 15 metres above the rainforest floor. Spot epiphytic orchids and ferns surrounded by the many birds and animals that inhabit the treetops. Profiles depicting the local rainforest flora have been placed along the walkway to assist with identification.

Walkthrough the cool canopy of flowering and fruiting trees covered by vines and climb to the two observation decks constructed high in a Strangler Fig - the highest one being 30 metres (approximately 110 feet) above the ground.

*Note: O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk is free of charge, however donations for maintenance to the Green Mountains History Association are appreciated. There is no age or height restriction however parental guidance of young children during the climbing aspect of the activity is recommended.
