COVID-19 Information For Travellers

Recreational and business travel including overnight stays to Queensland regions including the Gold Coast is still permitted by those located within Queensland, as well as other non-declared Australian hotspots. For the latest information on declared hotspots and restrictions please visit the Queensland Government website.

Gold Coast Airport operates direct passenger air services from the following Australian cities where unrestricted leisure and business travel is permitted. This includes; Cairns, Townsville, Canberra, Sydney (servicing beyond Greater Sydney areas until 1 December when unrestricted travel is open to all of New South Wales) and Newcastle in addition to Hobart and Perth (commencing 1 December).
