Instead of bread, baker Ben Edwards wanted to craft the best trilogy of pies, doughnuts and coffee, and as his cult local following attests - he’s smashed it out of the park at Fuel Bakehouse. Think seven hours of slow-cooked beef to fill deep-pie dishes, salted caramel, Nutella or jam semi-sourdough doughnuts (they sell out so be quick), plus exceptional coffee from local roaster Burleigh Heads Social Espresso.

As an added bonus, Fuel recently opened a little hole in the wall in James St, Burleigh Heads, where you can get scrumptious baked goods and quality coffee to grab and go.
