These Anna Spiro (of Halcyon House fame) – designed apartments at Bon Sol Luxury Apartments capture the French Riviera you saw in Bridget Bardot movies of the 1950s. But even in such an elegant apartment that’s 50 metres from Burleigh’s stunning beach, it’s not the look of the place that inspires romance. GLAMPING IN NATURE
What could be more romantic than camping in a safari tent in amongst some of the oldest rainforest on Earth? It’s only an hour’s drive from Surfers Paradise to Lamington National Park, but at Nightfall Camp there are just three tents amongst the wilderness, allowing for total privacy in the bush. But you’re hardly roughing it; these are private tents with vintage baths where meals come hand-cooked on the fire.
