Tiny Wild Houses

Amidst Lamington National Park's tranquil surroundings, perched on the edge of a clifftop, the Tiny Wild Houses at Binna Burra Lodge allow you to be almost completely immersed in World-Heritage wilderness, with all the creature comforts and mod cons required to make your stay luxurious too.

This hinterland haven provides the perfect escape to get back to basics, connect with nature and experience a freedom and sense of peace that few places offer. Watch sunrise through the picture window at the foot of your bed and soak up the serenity of the Australian bush from your private verandah overlooking the dramatic mountain vistas. The perfect accommodation to rest, recharge and reconnect.

Sky HighStays

Perched on the edge of a high escarpment, The Sky Lodges at Binna Burra are designed for those who long to be in nature but enjoy the creature comforts. Architecturally built and kitted out with all the essentials, each apartment is designed to capture the incredible views from this mountain top vantage point. Breathtaking vistas can be seen from the balcony or bedroom. Or take a dreamy bath gazing out floor to ceiling windows, with all the feels of floating in the clouds. Choose from an open plan studio, 2 or 3-bedroom apartment.

Safari Simplicity

Comfortable and convenient, the Safari Tents at Binna Burra Lodge are popped up and ready to go, complete with campfire aroma and a breakfast bar that captures the stunning views across the valley.

There are two types of tents to choose from, a more intimate sleeps 3 option or if group getaways are your thing book the 6-person tent and take the tribe. Enjoy the shared facilities like supersized firepits, modern bathrooms and bush barbeques, with lighting, vinyl floors and furniture supplied in your tent.

Explore Ancient Wilderness

The ancient landscape of Lamington National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, the most extensive subtropical rainforest in the world. The rugged environment encapsulates mountain peaks, towering cliffs and cascading falls and are a result of changes to the earth dating back 300 million years.

This area has more than 160km walking trails to explore. The Binna Burra upper day use area takes you to the Border Track with pathways to the Rainforest Circuit and Araucaria and Wagawn scenic lookouts. From bushwalking to bird watching, chasing waterfalls and spotting rare wildlife, nature-lovers will be enchanted with this wilderness wonderland.

Bushwalker's Bar

Groom’s Cottage & Bushwalker’s Bar  is the original cottage of Binna Burra co-founder Arthur Groom and has been operating for nearly a century in one way or another. In its current incarnation the bushwalker’s bar is a place to gather around the communal firepit. Perhaps with a Gold Coast craft brew or  a locally made gin infused with native botanicals from the Beechmont Mountain Distillery. A character filled, historical cottage ideal for sundowners in the summer and cosy nights by the fire in winter.

Tea Houes in the Trees

The Binna Burra Tea House has been tastefully restored to capture the valley views and fresh mountain air. Retaining its historical charm you can enjoy a hearty regional breakfast, tasty long lunch or a decadent dinner with an emphasis on locally sourced produce. There’s a grab and go cabinet for the bushwalkers to refuel and freshly baked scones to enjoy with your tea and coffee.

Take a day trip and immerse yourself in the natural surrounds of Lamington National Park or stay awhile and soak up the serenity of beautiful Binna Burra.
