BEACHSIDE BRUNCHING
The luxe vibe of Hyde Paradiso makes you feel like you’ve been teleported to a European summer holiday, complete with sweeping ocean views and a Mediterranean inspired menu. This venue boasts a modern fit-out with a touch of retro charm, like dusty pink hues, encaustic tiles and archways that greet you at every turn. Beachside brunch packages are available every weekend from 11am and include hours of bubbles, a selection of tapas and the ocean as the backdrop.

SURFERS PAVILION SUNDAY BRUNCH
Vibrant coastal colours and high ceilings with sweeping river views greet you at the recently opened Surfers Pavilion. Launching a waterfront brunch menu with style, the Pav Brunch Club includes mimosas, cocktails and gourmet grazing boards featuring antipasto, cheeses and bruschetta plus fresh fruit, chia pudding and waffles. The two-hour Brunch Club package is only $89 per person but tickets are limited and must be pre-booked, so plan ahead! Kick off your Sunday morning brunch then swing into the afternoon with live music and sunset cocktails. A midday siesta might be required! The Bruch Club is held every Sunday from 10.30am-12.30pm.

TASTIEST TARTS
French-inspired Tarte Bakery & Café popped up in a prime corner location opposite the beach in Burleigh. It’s a go-to for brunch on the Gold Coast. Tarte is all about the baked goods and great coffee. Housed in a Parisian style café, it will send your senses into overdrive. Create your own high tea brunch with a selection of tarts baked daily, like blueberry and custard, mango bomb and rhubarb crumble all wrapped in their signature flaky pastry. Open daily and pooch friendly, Tarte is the ideal mid-morning munch spot.

BEACH CLUB BRUNCH
Brunch on the Gold Coast just got luxe! Head to the brand-new rooftop entertainment destination – Cali Beach Club. Four storeys up and spanning a massive 5000 square metres, this opulent, open-air precinct features four sparkling pools, four bars and two restaurants plus day beds and cabanas, which you can book for a VIP experience (entry to public spaces is free). Cali Beach Club is the perfect spot for a mid-morning soiree, complete with relaxing in the pool and lazing in the sun. Try a sushi or fruit platter or opt for a burger or burrito for something more substantial. Spritzers, slushies and Cocowhip cocktails make the perfect brunch accompaniment. Open Friday to Sunday from 11am.

CALIFORNIA DAY DREAMING
Palm Springs showcases the quintessential Gold Coast vibe with a Southern Californian twist, featuring pastel hues, cacti garden and stucco façade. Bursting with all the fresh feels and a healthy wholefood menu, like the falafel bowl, mushroom toast, or sweet crumpets with poached seasonal fruits, The Palm Springs brunch club is perfect for a mid-morning meal that stretches long into the afternoon. For a heavenly hair of the dog, add some kick to your caffeine with an Espresso Martini. Open seven days from 6.30am.

BRUNCH BY THE SEA
Perched on Burleigh Point, so close to the water you could be on a boat, The Tropic has one of the most impressive views in town. It’s bright and breezy with doors that sweep open to the expansive ocean and beyond, and live entertainment to serenade you as you sip and nibble. Brunch here consists of fresh seafood and chilled rosé, with bottomless bubbles flowing and oysters to shuck it could easily morph into a long lunch. You can book brunch at The Tropic on the last Saturday of every month.

Happiness is best served melted. Cheese Me Baby built a reputation for their gorgeous gourmet cheese toasties at the local farmer’s markets. Now with a dedicated venue in Mermaid Beach, they’ve expanded their offerings to crumpets, cheese platters and other delicacies all made with local, farm fresh produce. It’s fast becoming a favouite place to brunch on the Gold Coast. Try the Waygu Bolognaise toastie for a hearty start to the day – roasted tomato Waygu bolognaise with basil pesto, fresh basil and rocket plus cheddar and mozzarella. Yum!
