It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…and with all the fun and festivity that comes with the season, there’s even more sparkle being added to the Gold Coast. So if you want to know about all things festive happening around town, from Christmas themed mini-golf to merry Christmas markets, read on! 

Play A Round at Santa's Mini Golf

For a fun activity in the lead-up to Christmas, have a hit at the Club at Parkwood Village. The first nine holes are festively adorned with fairy lights and festive decor, while you have the option to stay and play a further 9 to hit the full 18. Putt from now until New Year's Eve. Drop a Note to Santa

The North Pole Mailbox will be ready to take Christmas wish lists and letters at Sanctuary Cove from December 1. Kids can craft their own messages at the stationery station, seal them with a kiss, and pop in the mailbox for a direct mail service to the North Pole. Find out more here.

Dreaming of a White Christmas?

So are your kids, so invite them to a magical evening at Warner Bros. Movie World, where a transformation has taken place and a wondrous winter wonderland awaits from December 3rd - 23rd. Main Street is covered in snow, lights create magical illuminations and the all-new ‘Joy to the World’ parade kicks off with floats from around the world. Have Yourself an Adults Only Christmas

With a glass of cheeky eggnog to help the creativity along, join the master bakers at Madison’s Café and Patisserie at the Oasis Centre for a naughty, but still very nice gingerbread house decorating session. Tickets are $90.00 pp, which includes wine and nibbles. Book here.

Let Them Eat Gingerbread

Christmas Markets GC - Broadwater Parklands

For a different take on shopping this Christmas, why not make a conscious choice to support small businesses, creatives and artisans in the community by buying some of your gifts at local Christmas Markets?The largest on the Gold Coast takes over the Broadwater Parklands from December 16 - 18. Find over 100 stalls brimming with festive tidings from 4 - 10 pm, plus there’s rides for the kids, gourmet goodies to try and buy, roving Christmas characters, Christmas lights and more. Surfers Paradise Christmas Twilights Market - Surfers Paradise

Pack your biggest Christmas shopping bag for this one, with over 100 stalls sharing all things Christmas along the Surfers Paradise Esplanade on Saturday December 10 from 4 pm to 9 pm. Find unique gifts to appease hard-to-buy-for family and friends, load up on handmade Christmas decorations, feast at the food stalls and have some helpers on hand who’ll enjoy the free entertainment, activities and Christmas vibe as much as you. HOTA Christmas Twilight Markets - Bundall

This is one market you won’t want to miss, with a night of Christmas celebrations in store, unique gifts to peruse and plenty of places to get your fill of gourmet Christmas cheer. The Village Markets - Burleigh Heads

Could there be a better way to end the year than picking up some last Christmas gifts while treating yourself to something new too? German Mini Christmas Market - Varsity Lakes

Bringing a bit of Europe to the Gold Coast on November 27 (and in plenty of time for Christmas), Brezel Authentic Bakery will share their love of all things German Christmas with stollen, gingerbread cookies and apple punch.
