Overview

The final day of Blitz action contains two huge matchups. Illawarra and Cairns will do battle in the penultimate game of the tournament, in what will be a clash between two of the most exciting, young rosters in the competition heading into NBL24. Import stars Tyler Harvey and Tahjere McCall will be hoping to help steady the ship to allow their young charges to flourish, while first year centres Sam Mennenga and Lachie Olbrich are set to do battle down low. Sydney and Brisbane will then face off for the first time since the Kings’ dismantling of the Bullets in NBL23. Revenge is a dish best served cold, so Justin Schueller and Brisbane will be aiming to fire against the reigning champions. The NBL has partnered with Major Events Gold Coast and the Queensland Government to bring all 10 teams to the Gold Coast, where 15 games will be played during the week-long preseason tournament. Not only will fans have the chance to watch the NBL’s biggest stars on the court, but players from all teams will engage with the local community through a range of activities and activations.
