Step into our greatest show under the stars as AACTA Festival features a free screening of the cinematic masterpiece "The Greatest Showman” on Sunday February 11 from 6pm at HOTA.
Join us for an extraordinary evening where you can experience the allure of great cinema, enjoy a delightful picnic, and savour in a selection of wines. Introduced by the Gold Coasts very own greatest showman, Mayor Tom Tate and featuring the master illusionist behind the film, Director Michael Gracey, who will deliver some highlights on the making of the film.
The Greatest Showman starring, Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya was Michael Gracey’s feature film debut. He followed this great achievement as executive producer on Elton John’s biopic Rocketman. He now returns with his sophomore film, Better Man - a fantastical approach on the life of Robbie Williams (also presented at AACTA Festival).
Charismatic Hugh Jackman stars in the Greatest Showman as P.T. Barnum who rises from selling lottery tickets to creating the iconic Barnum & Bailey circus. From catchy musical numbers to daring acrobatic feats, experience the captivating spectacle that took the world by storm.
