SWELL Sculpture Festival
10 days of sculpture on the beach! SWELL Sculpture Festival is for everyone! Come and see for yourself! Over 65 large-scale sculptures along beautiful Currumbin Beach which is transformed into an outdoor sculpture park. Connecting people, art and place, SWELL transforms public spaces into family-friendly outdoor sculpture galleries! The annual SWELL Sculpture Festival is celebrating its 21st year as a free and all-inclusive 10-day outdoor sculpture exhibition by the people for the people. A celebration of narratives and stories spoken through the artworks produced by local, national and international artists. You are invited to immerse at your own level and pace with the sculptures set amongst the natural landscape. Delve deeper into the unique artistic elements programmed each year by attending artist talks, twilight walks, sculptural workshops and masterclasses. Crafted Beer and Cider Festival is the Gold Coast's premier craft beer festival, held annually beachside in Broadbeach over two epic days. The Sunshine ClubSet is 1946, the joyful and acclaimed musical The Sunshine Club, tells the story of Aboriginal soldier Frank Doyle, who is just returning home to Brisbane after serving in WW2, to find that, while the world may have changed, the same attitudes and prejudices still exist at home. But this only fills Frank with a strong desire to change things for the better by setting up The Sunshine Club. A place where all people are welcome to come together, laugh, romance and dance the night away as Frank sets out to win the heart of Rose, the girl from next door. Battle of Hastings Tribute Duel and Murder Mystery Dinner
1066 when the Normans took on the Saxons is one of the most significant battles in History and they will be acknowledging the event with live knights battle each other followed by a medieval murder mystery dinner of which you role play the characters. This is the story: Over the last century, the Ethos Realm has become more disordered and tumultuous. The relationships between the six kingdoms have deteriorated, but with the impending marriage between the House of Langstone and Tyrele, there is hope for peace and unity. Queen Crestian Langstone has invited all royal families from the Ethos Realm to the Castle of Westerfell to join in celebration the night before her son’s wedding. It is curious that some of the invited guests have previously been banished or have fled the Kingdom of Westerfell for fear of their lives, but for some peculiar reason, they have accepted the queen’s invitation and will attend the festivities. Does the queen have ill-intentions, or is she turning over a new leaf and extending the olive branch to her former foes?

Remember, remember the fifth of November The gunpowder treason and plot I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot Join Fox and Hound for dinner and a reenactment of the foiled plan in which Guy Fawkes tried to kill the King of England. Be welcomed by Morris Dancers before dining, then witness the burning of Guy Fawkes and fireworks. Come dressed in period dress, or as Guy Fawkes! Be warned, there will be loud explosions. There are few times and places in life where the truly unimaginable takes place, and in these moments, these precious few instances, where reality drifts and fantasy takes hold, is where Yonder exists.

Kalbar Sunflower Festival
An opportunity for tourists to visit a sunflower farm based at Kalbar in the picturesque Scenic Rim Region, walk among half a million sunflowers and totally immerse themselves in the beauty and happiness they provide. Excellent photography opportunities, a great event for the whole family. As well as the excitement of being up close and personal with acres of sunflowers, there is entertainment, helicopter rides over the sunflowers and adjacent farmlands, merchandise as well as food and beverages on sale. Workshops for children, and for the adults sunflower art, cooking classes, photography and craft. Experience the River 94.9 4 acre sunflower maze. Enjoy a long table lunch prepared by Chef Richard Ousby in the sunflowers and perhaps a sunflower cocktail by Brasshound Distillery.

Blues on Broadbeach
Blues on Broadbeach will return for its 23rd year. Held throughout the beautiful Broadbeach precinct across four days, the festival is a celebration of live rhythm and blues music featuring artists from around the world. The 2023 lineup included international and national legends like acoustic guitar icon Tommy Emmanuel, Don Walker, Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Chris Cheney, Memphis’ own Marcus Scott and the Bo-Keys (USA), and so many more.
