Join this celebration of Tamborine Mountain’s freshest, local and seasonal produce. Visitors can experience a vibrant day filled with local growers, food artisans, stalls and live music by Grace Lily Lamour. Bring your picnic blankets, empty eskies and indulge in a day of community spirit and culinary delights.
Market stallholders and activity includes:
- Picnic Real Food Bar – with their legendary sweets – chocolate brownies, cheesecake and cookies plus you can enjoy a delicious local produce driven brekkie or lunch!
- North Stores Kitchen Garden – with their famous tex mex sauce, cherry tomato jam, caramelised beetroot and onion relish, rhubarb, apple and rose jam – all jarred and made with local produce
- Forgotten Sound Farm – fresh from the farm organic veggies and flowers
- Franquette Bakery
- Tamborine Mountain Cheese
- Farm fresh produce from local Tamborine Mountain farmers including avocados, kiwi fruit and veggies
- Embers Wood Fired Dining – market style eats showcasing local produce. You won’t be able to resist Ember’s spiced Towri lamb kofta cooked over the coals, with fermented cucumber and chilli salsa, smoked egg emulsion, pickled scallions, and fresh garden greens and flowers coming from Forgotten Sound Farm; or their toasted Franquette baguette warmed over the fire with melted Towri Sheep Cheese, local onion, garlic and 4real milk hung yoghurt.
- The Loborn Tasting Bar will be open – this distillery combines age-old Italian traditions with native botanicals to create a distinctive Aussie aperitif!
- Scenic Rim Food Ambassador and Chef Brenda Fawdon will be on-hand to chat and sign her Eat Local Vol 2 cookbook
