National Futsal Championships 2024
The National Futsal Championships will be returning in 2024 at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre in Queensland. Delivered by hosts Football Queensland in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland and Major Events Gold Coast. The 2024 National Futsal Championships will form part of Football Queensland’s Summer Festival of Futsal. Which will also feature Football Threes, Beach Soccer exhibition matches and the Gold Coast International in the following days. The 2024 National Futsal Championships will welcome players in the following age groups: U12 – U16 Boys, Youth Men and Open Men, plus U13, U15, U17 Girls, Youth Women and Open Women, and Open AWD (Athletes with Disabilities) Mixed.

Usher Cup
Southern Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks will come alive with 32 surfers from 8 International Boardriding Clubs. Competing against 128 surfers from 32 Australian Boardriding Clubs in WA, VIC, NSW and QLD over four days. The event is completely free to attend, and attendees can experience a live site with big screens and live streaming of the Usher Cup in the heart of Coolangatta at Queen Elizabeth Park.

The Usher Cup is much more than a surf contest and in 2024, they aim to once again produce a kaleidoscope of community, culture and the arts along the full length of the coastline from Kirra, right through to the contest site at Snapper Rocks. While the Usher Cup is and will always remain committed to providing a platform which allows the sport’s emerging stars to showcase their talents and take their skills to the next level, in 2024 the contest founders are pleased to welcome more international board riding teams and Australian clubs totalling 31 teams, competing for the Usher Cup World Club Challenge.

Juicy Fest
If you’re guilty of trying to replicate Ashanti’s sweet vocals when ‘Foolish’ plays on the radio, you’ve got down and dirty in the clubs to the auto-tuned masterpiece that is ‘Buy U a Drank’ or you’ve jammed way too many times to ‘Hate It Or Love It’, then this is your sign to buy a ticket to 2000s-inspired hip-hop and R&B festival Juicy Fest. The 2024 edition of Juicy Fest, which is coming to Doug Jennings Park on the Gold Coast on Saturday January 20, will be headlined by a clutch of hip-hop and R&B legends includingT-Pain, Ashanti, T.I. and The Game. The line-up also features 90s and 2000s superstars like Trey Songz, Fabolous, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Keri Hilson and Mario. Following a dynamite debut in 2023, the 18-plus festival is scheduled for nine shows across New Zealand and Australia in January. The Gold Coast will be the last stop on the tour, so you know your favourite artists are going to put on one hell of a show. Echoes of Pink Floyd: Signs of Life Tour - Miami
In 1988, Australia witnessed a rock concert event unprecedented in its scale, scope, and impact. English powerhouse rockers Pink Floyd, sparkling with fresh energy after enduring significant upheaval in the early 1980s, came to Australian shores in support of their smash hit A Momentary Lapse of Reason album.
