2023 NAB AFLW Season - Round 7: Gold Coast SUNS v Brisbane Lions
Enjoy all the family fun and live action of Saturday arvo footy as the SUNS AFL Women’s team take on the Brisbane Lions for QClash glory in Indigenous Round at Heritage Bank Stadium! Arrive early with your family and friends in your best and brightest SUNS colours and enjoy the electric atmosphere of this unmissable Saturday arvo clash between state rivals! There's so much fun to be had for the whole family, including face painting, bungy trampolines, a 360 degree photobooth, giveaways and a kids playground! Tickets available via the booking link with Ticketek. Parking is free in the Blue Car Park at Heritage Bank Stadium. Normal Translink services will operate, including Surfside Bus services, Queensland Rail City network trains, and G:Link services. Event shuttle buses will not be in operation. Never Say Die. Total Buzzkill at Mo's Desert Club House
Total Buzzkill, the punk rockers from Northern Rivers, are back in Burleigh Heads, ready to rock the stage at Mo's Desert Club House. They're bringing along some fantastic acts to join them for an epic afternoon of live music. Expect to see the legendary Twisted Hirozon from Aubrey, local icons Match Breakers, and The Basils. Put on your dancing shoes and prepare for a day filled with moshing, ice-cold beers, and loads of fun. Please note that this event is strictly for adults aged 18 and above.

Battle of Hastings Tribute Duel and Murder Mystery Dinner
1066 when the Normans took on the Saxons is one of the most significant battles in History and they will be acknowledging the event with live knights battle each other followed by a medieval murder mystery dinner of which you role play the characters. This is the story: Over the last century, the Ethos Realm has become more disordered and tumultuous. The relationships between the six kingdoms have deteriorated, but with the impending marriage between the House of Langstone and Tyrele, there is hope for peace and unity. Queen Crestian Langstone has invited all royal families from the Ethos Realm to the Castle of Westerfell to join in celebration the night before her son’s wedding. It is curious that some of the invited guests have previously been banished or have fled the Kingdom of Westerfell for fear of their lives, but for some peculiar reason, they have accepted the queen’s invitation and will attend the festivities. Does the queen have ill-intentions, or is she turning over a new leaf and extending the olive branch to her former foes?

The 2023 Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold
The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold is one of the most challenging endurance races in surf sports. What began as the central theme for a motion picture more than 35 years ago, now commands a place on Australia’s annual calendar of prestigious sporting events. The mighty Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold will be held on 14-15 October on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold consist of 4 events over the weekend at Coolanagatta: Short Course: Saturday, 14 October Youth Challenge: Saturday, 14 October Downwind Paddle: Saturday, 14 October Long Course: Sunday, 15 October The Shaw and Partners Financial Services Coolangatta Gold consists of a 21km Short Course run and a 41.8km Long Course race run. The multi-disciplinary course combines swimming, running, board paddling and surf skiing. Once again in 2023, the event will see the inclusion of the Youth Challenge and will host a Downwind Paddle as part of the the Shaw and Partners Australian Ocean Racing Series for 2023.

The 28th celebration of the annual Gold Coast World Masters hosted on Queensland's most famous coastline stretch – the Gold Coast has earned a reputation as Australia’s best tournament for club golfers. The Gold Coast World Masters gives everyday golfers the experience of competing in a major professional tournament.
